The formalities are the essence of the Swedish governance

Sweden is one of the most regulated countries in the world. Anything you can think of needs a permission from one of the almost 500 authorities, the 290 municipalities or one of the 21 county boards. There are about four thousand laws, which are constantly under revision by the five thousand clerks in the government secretariat installed by be the social democratic party.

There is a specific fallacy built into the system to make it outermost arbitrary.

Included in the application to be the father of your own child, it is mandatory to meet up at the social welfare office

Any activities such as open a restaurant, explore a mine, move a wall in your private home, change crop on farmland or become the father of your own child needs an application to the authorities.

Included in the application to be the father of your own child, it is mandatory to meet up at the social welfare office. The clerk explains to you that even though you are officially the father of your child, you will not be the caretaker of your child if something happens to the mother. That will be decided according to an investigation by the authorities.

For all activities where an application is needed, there are no criteria in writing to start with other than that there must be an application handed in to the, by law stated authority.

If a company has made a study for 50 million SEK handed in with the application, the answer shall be Yes, or NO

There are no requirements for education for the people handling the application. This is not important since the applicant has the possibility to appeal to the specific special court without jury, where the sentence must not be motivated.

But what is outermost important, hammered into all clerk’s exerting authority is that the authority must not give advice. This is explained with the importance that the law shall be equal. If a company has made a study for 50 million SEK handed in with the application, the answer shall be Yes, or NO. This is said to be in line with the positivistic approach to the law, which will guarantee that all applications are treated equally. This is the holy grail of Sweden.

There is also an axiom that all clerk’s working for an authority is honest by default. In contradiction to the Monty Pythons holy grail, the clerk’s cant be responsible for their actions. They are protected by the law.

Talking to any of those clerks in private is like talking to a deeply fundamentalistic religious person, who suffer from Asperger’s syndrome.

The possibility to compare cases are null since there are no motivations to the decisions, this not to give advice hence it will be equal for all applicants. Does this sound relevant, or does it sound like the fallacy it is.

The relaxed approach to the handling of applications by the authorities are explained with the possibility to appeal to the special court. The special court populated with judges, who are installed by the social democratic party, will assess how the formalities was handled by the clerk. First has the appeal arrived within the due time stated for this kind of appeals, and so on.

The statistics are obvious, telling us the minimal percent where the court has changed the decision from an authority. There is off course the possibility to appeal to a higher court, where the judges must have experience from work in the government secretariat, hence they are even more framed with the social democratic ideology.

Since there are no fundament for the decisions made by the authorities, it is possible to change the precautions for all areas in the society by changing the framing of the authorities’ personnel. The concept is internal education, group mentality, and all the other specialities in the portfolio of the social democratic party, not far from Ron Hubbard’s scientologists.

This approach is implemented in most of the Swedish laws and is a convenient way for the social democratic party to turn 180 degrees without a revealing law change. The social democratic party has always been eager to appoint the management positions in all authorities.

Talking to any of those clerks in private is like talking to a deeply fundamentalistic religious person, who suffer from Asperger’s syndrome. We can see in the job adverts for those positions the wording “We are looking for you who burn for the environment”.

This approach is implemented in most of the Swedish laws and is a convenient way for the social democratic party to turn 180 degrees without a revealing law change. The social democratic party has always been eager to appoint the management positions in all authorities.

The formalities are the essence of the Swedish governance. The strawman is the equality in front of the law, where transparency, predictability and common sense are omitted. The most central parameter is time.

But such things happen only in other countries and will never happen in Sweden thanks to the axiom of honest civil servants.

The clerk at the authority comes to work at eight a clock an goes home at five, spending their days evaluating if the application came in in due time. If the application for corona support from the company employing fifty persons came in one day late, the application will be refused with bankruptcy and unemployment as the consequence.

But this does not matter since Sweden has a welfare system where everybody will get somewhere to live and food vouchers from the local social security clerk.

Another formality used is the correct wording. If someone in Nigeria get their hands of your personal number and apply for a loan in your name. When you get the first repayment claim, you must use the right wording, in your correspondence with the bank, and off course in due time. If not, you formally accept the claim, and are liable for the entire debt.

If a company will start a business within a municipality somewhere in Sweden. The company needs land to build a factory or a commercial building to house their business. Now the municipality demands the company to send in a business plan to reveal their planned business model. This is outermost important to evaluate the environmental consequences and so on.

In addition, they will need to make a costly environmental study and reveal all environmental consequences. Worth to mention is that all documents sent into an authority are official and can be ordered by anyone. Even though the documents are classified there will be at least 100 persons included voluntary politicians who have access.

Since all clerks and politicians in Sweden are by nature honest there are no problem. But if there would have been a dishonest person, such as there is in other countries, in the line. The possibility appears that the application will be denied, and some other interests with better connections took the idea and fulfilled the business.

But such things happen only in other countries and will never happen in Sweden thanks to the axiom of honest civil servants. This is also proved by Transparency International Sweden which is a voluntary association where the board is closely controlled by the social democratic party. Since there is no clerk or politician who have been charged in court, the statistics tells us that corruptive behaviour does not exists in Sweden. The more we blame Hungary and Poland the less conscious we become in Sweden.
