Sweden is situated in the north of Europe on the Scandinavian peninsula. Sweden covers 14 latitude’s from 55 in the south to 69 in the north. This compares to other continents the same latitudes as Alaska and Siberia. Anyhow the climate in Sweden is a lot warmer, due to the golf stream passing the coasts of Scandinavia. The temperatures over the year varies from -49oC (-57 F) to 38o C ( 100 F). The temperature extremes varies from the south to the north since the length of Sweden is almost 2200 km.

To wield full control in Sweden the party had to be pragmatic. In close cooperation with the families controlling banks, and the main industries in Sweden, the old feudal families owning all land and forests, a socialistic experiment was rolled out.
During the second world war, Sweden was a “neutral” country, where the party was closely tied to the Nazi Germany supplying iron ore and ball bearings to the German army. After the war, the party invented “the peoples home” project.
In the beginning the aim was to provide decent homes for all people. The project get momentum by the factor that Sweden was not affected by the war. Quite the opposite was Sweden capitalized by the trade with the Nazis and had a good position providing supply to build up the crushed cities in Europe.
A decision was made to build one million apartments during a 10 years period (The million program). The apartments were built, and the party made the people to move in from the countryside to the newbuilt areas by subsidies. The gigantic generation born after the war, become the rats of the experiment. The “million program” areas are now the Swedish no go zones.
The experiment was extended to free medical treatment free dental treatment free schools and universities, free nursery homes for elderly and almost free kindergartens. If someone needed glasses those was provided by the state. If someone lost his job he was granted almost hundred percent of his wage from the trade union found, backed by the state tax system, controlled by the party. A condition was that the beneficiary was a member of the trade union, which also included membership in the party.
The next step was when the post war generation families grow with more kids, they wanted to build their own house. The project was extended with the “own home” program. All families who built a house was subsidised by 40% of the cost, provided loans from the state whit lower interest than the inflation. The retirement system provided hundred present of the salary the last year before retirement. Of course, all people were voting for the social democratic party, why not!
One of the most important attributes in the Swedish democratic narrative is the association.
During the long period of time when the party got almost 80% of the votes they implicated in all aspects of the Swedish society. The church was merged to the party, off course radio and television was controlled by the party, the newspapers got a bunch of subsidies from the party. The party started several cooperatives such as insurance companies, banks and a cooperative for food stores, where all party members got discount. It took long time before there was any private competition regarding food supply, and still there are areas where the only food store is owned by the cooperation.
All private actors in the society was organized by the party. Such as the farmers, the lawyers the municipalities, the power companies. All those umbrella organization was and are controlled by party members populating the boards and setting the agenda. All those actors in the society happily joins the interest organizations which is a qualification to get the subsidies provided, or to get access to the national tax bin. Access to the state tenders is a prerequisite for business in Sweden, since over 50 percent of the national GDP is spent by the state, the municipalities, or the almost 500 authorities providing all service to the inhabitants.

The number of umbrella organization are vast, and they are all controlled by party members who are in the financial situation where they do not need a job to provide for themselves.

There can always be a minority offended by a suggestion opposing the Party’s dogma, or a sincerely good cause to implement new laws and measures to extend the control of the population.
The idea of cooperatives is the tool used for founding the party’s propaganda machine. One example is the greatest organization after the trade unions associated, the national cooperation for apartments (HSB). The association was founded 1923, and has 554 thousand members, most of them does not even know they are members since membership comes with renting an apartment from the cooperatives organized under umbrella organization. The organization controls about 365 thousand apartments in Sweden. There are no requirements by law for association to keep books, since they are not eligible to pay tax. This means the transparency is weak, and the bookkeeping is just of interest for the members. Think of the enormous capital controlled by the association, and the turnaround of 365 thousand apartments built half a century ago.
Another example is the umbrella organization for all Swedish municipalities and regions (SKR). SKR has 400 employees. The organization recently sold their weekly magazine with a turnaround of 60 million SEK per year. Why do municipalities need an interest organization in the first case?

This umbrella organization are interesting from other aspects as well. During the 20th century numerous umbrella organization has been created by the party, organizing for example associations for dairy and slaughterhouses build up by the local farmers, associations for electric power production by hydropower financed and built by local villages. Slowly the umbrella organization transforms into a state-owned limited company controlled by the party, with the local power stations, dairies, and slaughterhouses as assets on the balance sheet. The next step is when the party sells these assets to interests in other countries. This is the mental acrobatics people in Sweden are trained to live with.
Additionally, the umbrella organizations are the prime target for committee reports when new laws are to be stipulated by the government (the party). For each new law to be implemented the government secretariat sends a committee report to the umbrella organization for the associations they believe might be stakeholders. Mainly the time to answer the committee report is 3 weeks. The possibility to address the committee report to the members of the underlaying associations during this time is none. Specifically, since the associations tend to meet 3 time per year, and the committee report tend to be between 50 and 100 pages of apparatchik prose. But the law will be constituted in “a good democratic order”.

Since all you need as a Swedish citizen is provided by the government there are no need for a lot of money. The average swede is paying 70 percent of their income in tax. In other words, if an employee shall have 300 SEK to spend, it will cost the employer 1000 SEK. In addition, the VAT of 25 percent is voluntary since the individual can decide not to spend their 300 SEK.
After the oil crisis the Swedish export started to decrease. Number of peoples lost their jobs in the industry. The socialistic project was extended with the goal that the state (the party) is responsible to provide all citizens with a job. Due to the Marx and Engels all citizens shall work. To have a job is a human right, has been the standing order from the oil crisis during the seventies, until now. The party has invented several measures to provide new jobs, mainly by constituting new laws, invent new authorities, and extending the educational system.
People who are disabled must be provided the possibility to have a job, has long been stipulated by law. If it takes 3 assistants to make the disabled person performing on the job this is considered a defensible cost, since the job is a human right. Consequently, four people can say they have a job. With this logic there are not a shortage of jobs, only a shortage of disabled people.
This specific laws for disabled have been a lucrative business. In a family one person can contact a doctor and claim he is disabled. He or she gets a testimonial. The family then starts an enterprise with the core business of taking care of the disabled family member. There is legal scope to employ 4 full time employees to care for one disabled, where four family members employed gives a turnaround of about 500 thousand euros a year. This is fine for the unemployment statistics, but the system gets a slightly ridiculous touch when the disabled person cannot regret to post pictures on Facebook from his activities during holiday trips to his country of origin.
The Social democratic party has always been disciplined to hand over the government to the opposition during or after economic crises.
The good times for Swedish export started to fade during the seventies. The competition advantages were gone when the rest of the world was rebuilt after the war. Sweden started to devaluate the currency to keep the export going. The high cost of the workforce was still a problem, even though several devaluations took place. Sweden needed to borrow from abroad to keep their experiment going. The voters must be kept happy with continually new benefits, and the constantly growing non-productive sector swallowing heaps of money. During the eighties, the first test was lounged to print money via home loans, together with subsidies for people building new homes. The prices for construction material and construction workers skyrocketed. All people in Sweden with legal ability was either constructing their own home or speculating in the house market.
The tax system was constructed in a way that interest rates was one hundred percent deductible from the tax. The tax was during this period up to 90 percent depending on salary range. That treat was over 1991, when mister Ebner speculated against the Swedish krona and the central bank had to increase the interest rate to 500%.
The banks mainly owned by the Wallenberg trust was bailed out by the state (The party). The tax system was changed, and the rules for sick leave changed, where employees did not get paid for the first day off. Suddenly the car manufacturer Volvo had 25% employees in excess. The previous practice had been to spend sick leave time to develop property business.

The party could with confidence hand over the power for 30 years before the opposition can make any serious attempt to change the system. Keep in mind the almost 500 authorities, 290 municipalities, the 21 regions, the vast number of umbrella organizations controlled by loyal party members. In addition, the trade unions have by law the right to place at least one of their members in the board of all Swedish private employers.
The Swedish law
Sweden has a constitution, but no constitutional court. The constitution looks good from outside with the human rights taken care of and mainly what can be expected by a democracy.
The trick is that there is no law against corruption for civil servants and politicians.
All judges in Sweden are installed by the government. The procedure to process a new law is to send the committee report for assessment to the board of old experienced judges, to make sure it does not conflict with the constitution. However, the government does not need to take the suggestions from the board into consideration.
To become an experienced judge, one mandatory step in the career is to work in the governmental secretariat!!!
In Sweden there are almost no corruption at all due to transparency international. Actually, zero corruption by civil servants and politicians in a country where more than 50% of the national GDP is spent by the authorities is an anomaly.
The trick is that there is no law against corruption for civil servants and politicians. When a politician has been found with his pants down, the best thing for him/her is to go the court. The court will absolve since there are no legal ways to charge in absence of adequate laws against corruption. The conclusion is that no corruptive actions has occurred. The law stipulates that conflict of interest must be announced by the subject in advance to be a valid conflict of interest. Case closed!
Sweden has about 4200 laws for the moment. The last time I looked there was 800 new laws under evaluation. This is a high number to regulate ten million people scattered over 450 295 square kilometres, 22 persons per Km2.
The Swedish laws are mainly divided in two categories. The first part protects citizens from other citizens misbehaviour, the freedom to make agreements and the obligation to follow agreements and so on, in order to be able to live side by side in some sort of peace and freedom. The laws in this category are handled by the police and public attorneys consisting of about 30 000 employees.
The vast majority of laws are in the second category which is mainly a tool for the party to abolish the rights the citizens are given in the constitution, as tools for providing the number of full time jobs needed for the moment, or any other god cause in line with the party’s dogma. The party’s dogma is by the way to keep the power.
The laws in the second category, are handled by about 250 thousand employees engaged by the almost 500 authorities, 290 municipalities, 21 regions. With other words 1 person for 40 citizens.
The tax authority has 10 000 employees, the Swedish employment agency 13700 employees, the 21 Swedish regional authorities (Länsstyrelser) have 6500 employees, the governmental secretariat 5000 employees, one of the 290 municipalities, the municipality of Stockholm has 40000 employees. The municipality has outsourced all jobs that involve carrying out a specific task of any kind of benefit for the citicens. By the way, the Swedish employment agency mediated 2% of all vacant positions 2019.

The laws in the second category does not send anyone to jail. There are mainly fines for all possible wrongdoings. Fines in the range of 5000 euros are common when it comes to property. The laws are often of a special kind, where there are a good room for arbitrary considerations by the clerk handling the case. There is no requirement for any formal education for those clerks, the only requirement is that they are employees of the specific authority. There is no responsibility attached to the clerk practicing authority or charging fines. Due to (LAS) they cannot lose their job. Due to the law, a clerk employed by any authority cannot be corrupt. Additionally, when a less educated peasant gets a decent position, she tends to be outermost loyal to the employer.
Let’s take an example. An owner of an old house decides to shift the tiles on the roof, since water start leaking in. What the owner does not know is that the municipality has been given the house protection for its historical value. The old handmade tiles are thrown away and new tiles are fitted
Now the case start, where the owner gets a request to replace the tiles with handmade tiles with the exact appearance as the old tiles. If he does not obey in 3 months, he will get a fine of 5000 euros, and another fine every 3 month until the tiles are replaced. The owner cannot find the handmade tiles on the market, and there are no one producing handmade tiles those days.
There is a possibility to appeal. This kind of case will be appealed to any of all the special courts in Sweden. There are a number of those special courts, but what they have in common is that there are no jury involved, only employees trained in the government secretariat and the court does not need to motivate their judgement. What will happen is that the special court will check if the appeal was sent in due time, if the clerk followed the procedures for this type of cases. They will never take the actual decision in to consideration.

By this system anyone can be charged, punished by fines and sent to the dire circumstances of personal bankruptcy, a pitfall impossible to recover from. All Swedish citizens has the obligation to be aware of “the law”!

The disdain for persons with assets is hammered in trough hundred years of advocacy by the party propaganda machine via the, state media, adverts by the trade union federal organization (LO), the press and not least the schoolteachers. The complete cultural establishment founded by subsidies from the state have the same bias. No publishers will take the risk to publish a book not in line with the party’s dogma, and risk to lose their cultural subsidies.

Let’s for example look at the limited company. The philosophy with limited companies is to reduce the private risk while launching a new idea. Swedish law provides for limited companies, which are called “aktiebolag” with the extension (AB). The law for (ABs) is compliant with international law with a tiny little exemption. If the AB, after filing for bankruptcy, is not able to pay the tax liabilities, the responsibility goes directly over to the board members mainly the owners.
The owner will be personally responsible for the ABs tax debt, and must most probably sell his home and file for personal bankruptcy. But that is no big deal since he will get food and somewhere to live according to decisions made by the local social security clerk.

Who believe a lawyer who has spent 6 years in a law school should blow the whistle, risking exclusion by his umbrella organization controlled by the party? The state pays about 300 euros per hour for legal assistance for the part of the population in absence of private founding’s.
Personal identity number
All citizens in Sweden get a personal number the day they are born. The number is used in several different registers organized by different authorities. The information is protected, with the meaning to prevent the individual from reading. Due to the new GDPR regulations the individual must admit the register owner to keep the register. This is simply done when the individual applies for, for example a new passport or a driver licence the individual need to admit the authority to collect the information, if else, no drivers licence or passport.

This is not a secret, since all documents handled by authorities are official, and can be requested by anyone anytime. Then to fill in an application for a credit card or to purchase some capital stuff to any delivery address is easy. The Balkan organization might need someone to keep an eye on your mailbox for a while, and steel the post from the lender or supplier.
If you are the owner of a real estate property you can suddenly be aware of that your property is sold.
Now comes the most peculiar part of the Swedish law. When the first bill comes in you must claim the bill. If you pay the bill you are automatically considered to agree to the contract, which is then effectual. If you don’t pay or claim the bill in a certain time mainly 2 weeks, you have admitted to the agreement by omitting. There are no chance to press charges or revert the contract, since the lawmakers of the party can’t admit that the system is weak. Education system
The education system is the outermost tool for egalitarianism.
All education is free in Sweden. Tuition fees are forbidden even though private schools are admitted. There is an equal amount of money dedicated for each child, which can be utilized either by a private school or a public school. This under the pamphlet freedom of choice, which is the latest invention by the party. The amount is decided centrally by the government (the party) and cannot be adjusted by the municipality which are responsible to provide education.
Even thou there are private schools, the curriculum must be the same in all schools. The curriculum is centrally decided by the government (the party) and is a subject for change every now and then by reasons no one can imagine.

Sweden has a specific faculty for pedagogical science. This faculty is isolated from the rest of the world, and do not by any means cooperate with any other faculty. The professors are off cause installed by the government (The party), which all professors in Sweden are. The faculty Is educating all teachers in Sweden. Teacher is a protected profession, like doctors and electricians. No one is allowed to teach, who has not a 3 years of education from the pedagogical faculty. The admission test to enter the education is the same as entering all other universities in Sweden. The only difference is that the score to be admitted to the pedagogical faculty is lower than the average for those who make the test blindfold.
All people applying for graduate education in Sweden makes the choice teacher as the seventh alternative in order to hedge. All teachers have actually applied for something else as first and second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth choice. Most students graduating from the pedagogical faculty find it a waste of three years of their life. Most teachers regret their choice after 3 years teaching, and a lot of teachers quits before five years. The scientific methods to early provide the dyslectic individuals with tools to compensate their dysfunctionality has not reached the peasants in the political establishment, neither the dogmatic pedagogical faculty. Thou sending a good part of the population to a life in alienation, in the name of the egalitarian dogmas.
The common opinion in the Social”democratic” party is that educated people are improper for decision making in a democracy. A recent study confirmed that most politicians in the government had not finished their secondary school, since the engagement for the party’s youth association took too much time. This is a heritage from the times when the majority of the people was workers, and the party was supposed to fight in close cooperation with the union for the blue-collar majority of the population. Now the party aims are to keep the banks capitalized and the salaries low.
The results from the OECD Pisa assessment show that the trend of underperforming in Sweden is broken. The test score is on average higher than the OECD average again. Numerous sources have leaked that a great number of students was told to stay home when their class was tested.
The results from the Pisa has shown that the gap between students due to socioeconomic home situation has widened. The response from the party has been to ban homework and instruct the teaches to omit test results when giving grades.
Anyhow national tests screening the schools in comparison is still performed. Even though the results shall not be a base for individual grades, the schools spend months to prepare the least gifted students to reach a result that do not show to much difference between the students. The principals have in their commitment strong focus on the egalitarian mission as an aim for the Swedish school system. Compared to other socialistic authoritarian so called democracies, Sweden has manged to prosper for a long time. This might be the reason why any open oppression of the people has not been necessary yet.

With no room for wrongthink within the public discourse there are hardly any need for oppression. By certain measures by the tax authority, the legal system, the social authorities, dissidents can easily be taken care of under the cover of good intentions. The society has the responsibility to care for children, animals, women, disabled, labour workers, the environment, refugees, and all other good intentions you can think of. By the law construction, there are always a way to put the dissident in to the eternity of bankruptcy. To defend yourself in a court will break you down mentally, but also cost you all your prosperity before you are entitled to public legal support.
The most common case is to protect children from their parents. A slight sentient report of concern by any of the ideologically trained staff in the childcare or education system will have dire consequences for the parent. I have tried to explained the essence of Sweden, in order to try to make you understand how and why Sweden treat the corona pandemic in quite the opposite way than the rest of the countries in the western world.
