The truth about science or the science of the truth

The Swedish invention Ombudsman is one of the most delicate confidence tricks. It is such a beautiful construction which no one even think of question. It has all the delicious imperatives of democracy anyone can think of.

Let’s present an example:

There was one family owning almost all newspapers in Sweden. They have been able to buy all newspapers since the tax system does not give room for smaller newspapers to survive. The monopoly situation was too obvious. 2009 parts of the Bonnier media concern was sold to the Norwegian counterpart Schibsted.

The journalists believe themselves to be a mixture of lawyer, priest and scientist, when they start their career burping headlines according to the one-party system agenda.

The Swedish government subsidies newspapers in Sweden in the name of democracy. To be subject for subsidies the publisher must be nominated by an authority mainly controlled by the social democratic party. The requirements are outermost vague, but one requirement has obviously been important until recently. The publisher must have printing facilities.

If any of those newspapers would cause harm for anyone by their publishing, and Sweden would have been a state where the rule of law was in charge. The newspapers could be sued and forced to pay indemnity.

Trough the Swedish axiom that if anyone has got a title together with his employment he is freed from all doubt.

However, since we are in Sweden, where one political party has been ruling the last 100 years. The newspapers have an umbrella organization called the newspaper distributors. This umbrella organization has made up a voluntary system to control the ethics of their members.

Pressetiska systemet The system is financed by “the publishers”, the 2 big actors Bonniers and Schibstedt and the state-owned broadcasting company together with off course the union for journalists.

The system is rigged in the following way. There is an Ombudsman for the public to whom the one who have been dragged in the dirt by either the state-owned broadcasting or any of the subsidized newspapers can complain. The ombudsman is of course nominated by the ones who finance the spectacle.

Trough the Swedish axiom that if anyone has got a title together with his employment he is freed from all doubt.

No codes of conduct are in print since the civil servants shall be the extension of the government and possibly change bias every now and then according to the ideological streams.

In addition, there are a press ethical committee where the members are nominated from the politicians in the regions (The democratic narrative, since most representants for the public are social democrats).

The procedure is as follows. The one who have got his business ruined, or where his family and himself must move from the distribution area of the local newspaper can claim to the Ombudsman. The ombudsman has the sovereign power to decide if the claim shall be sent to the press ethical committee or not. No way to appeal his decision.

If the case is sent to the committee and the committee find that the press ethical rules have been violated, the result will be a reprimand to the publisher. The publisher might even need to put in a correction with small text on the last page some years after the asperse took place.

In addition the press ethical committee has the ubiquitous task to maintain the press ethical rules. I have always wondered how there can be a post graduate education of 3 years to become a journalist. And what a journalistic scientist can be dealing with. But this is the formal apparatchik bullshit that is behind the science of journalism. Mainly that the social democratic party via the tax money they hand out, to the two big media concerns, shall be able to brainwash all journalists before they got the ability to wright a single line in a newspaper.

A curiosity is to compare the name of the founders of the science with the names of the scientists and professors.

The social democratic party has invented a new area of science. The press ethics, which mainly is a construction from the party laymen in the press ethical committee. They found the institution with the professors, which are appointed by the party.

The civil servants in all Swedish authorities can make decisions which affect the individual human rights to an almost indefinite extent.

Off course there are other parties in the Swedish political spectrum. The politicians in those parties have been raised and educated in Sweden. They are so brain washed that they don’t have the possibility to see the most obvious fallacies, and double think. Their training from the youth organizations is to follow the leader. And the ethos is stitch to the one and only party. If they have the right opinion, they get some time to be exposed in the state television, and that makes them happy.

There are other Ombudsmen in the Swedish social democratic system. The Ombudsman for justice is where a citizen can complain if he feels that any of the almost 500 authorities have failed.

The civil servants in all Swedish authorities can make decisions which affect the individual human rights to an almost indefinite extent. There are no formal requirements of education or certification to be working for a Swedish authority.

The Swede has an almost ancestral respect for authorities and titles

Since the civil servant is an employee with lack of formal education, they have no responsibility for their decisions.

If a citizen complaint to the Ombudsman for justice, the ombudsman will either approve or deny. If the case is approved the Ombudsman can make a critical statement to the authority. The ombudsman can suggest the authority to change their routines, but it is not mandatory for the authority to follow the recommendations from the Ombudsman. This is not a joke!

This kind of con trick is applied in almost every instance of the Swedish system. The Swede has an almost ancestral respect for authorities and titles, and the Swedish society is to compare with the movie “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s nest”. But hush, don’t tell them. They can be upset, and it is not good for they mental wellbeing.
