We are swedes, and that make us special. We all know that Sweden is one of the best places in the world. This we know not only conscious, but also as an ubiquity feeling of being superior to all other people, due to our indifference. When we try to explain the superiority of Sweden for people of other nationalities by telling them that we have a system, where everybody is equal. When the other people do not understand how we can be superior by mediocrity we feel deficient and become anxious.

If there is no rule, we invent one ourselves, and then we follow it slavishly.

All people in Sweden have been institutionalized from the age of 12 months to at least 18 years. The institutions are from kindergarten to secondary school provided by the municipality within the frames constituted by the government. Off course we have private alternatives. But the curriculum decided by the government must be followed and the caregivers and teachers must be educated in the same universities according to the curriculums decided by the government.

The institutions all have the same message of doublethink through all the years. Be eager and work hard with your schoolwork, but do not try to become better than someone else.

If a new law implies that all people must amputate their right arm, for the good cause to provide all people with a full-time job.

The swede like to have rules. If there is no rule, we invent one ourselves, and then we follow it slavishly. We cannot gather with others without a set of rules. All activities are performed within an association. The association consists of a set of rules, written in the bylaws. The bylaws do not only regulate how the association shall be managed. The bylaws also tell how the members shall behave, and often also how the member shall think. Mainly all associations have an umbrella association, which provides by-laws, information material, and homepages. It is also common that the umbrella organizations provide education for the members, how to comply with the rules. For most associations, these educations are mandatory, and for a lot of activities membership in an association and education is mandatory by Swedish national law.

The umbrella organizations have normally a secretariat with employees and a board. The board members are often those people who are good at associative work trained in the social democratic party. Beside nobody else would have the time to spend since they need to care for themselves.

The meaning of the word discussion is that there are two or more people who agree about a position and compete finding arguments that consolidates the common position.

The law is as central in the mind of the swede. The law is for the swede like the religion, the moral and thee air we breathe. The law constitutes our consciousness, and perception of reality.

If a new law implies that all people must amputate their right arm, for the good cause to provide all people with a full-time job. Nobody would hesitate to line up outside the amputation’s centres.

For people who don’t obey the law there is no mercy. Anyone who had the ability to punish a two-armed person should feel free to do so irrespective of the law. This is the essence of the Swedish society built during 100 years of social democratic hegemony.

We swedes do not like conflicts. When we meet, we sound the situation and try to find things where we agree with each other. We get extremely stressed if there are someone who have another opinion.

The meaning of the word discussion is that there are two or more people who agree about a position and compete finding arguments that consolidates the common position. If there are any doubts that all agree about the common position, the gathering sudden becomes silent. With flickering gaze, the gathering is broken up and the subject will never more be mentioned.

Since we have been institutionalized our entire lives, we need some assistance to associate.

If there are one person who announce a different position, nobody will argue. The person will get a stigma, and all people will treat him like air. A person who doesn’t have the same opinion as the group has no human dignity.

One of the most essential targets with the Swedish welfare society is that all people shall be independent. Not economically of course, but independent with regards to family and relatives. The individual shall always manage without help from anyone beside the state. The average swede spends more time together with their workmates than with their children. Most children spend more time within the institutions than with their parents and relatives. Most people must relocate to be able to find work and meet their relatives a couple of times a year if they can afford the travel. The tax burden is heavy.

The swede can’t associate without several amount of alcohol. Some studies claim that the swede has a negative alcohol lever in their blood. They need some shots to become normal. The only occasions we are supposed to associate is during Christmas and midsummer.

Since we have been institutionalized our entire lives, we need some assistance to associate. During midsummer, the municipality arrange playgrounds where people can meet and dance around an enormous phallic. There are organizers to tell us what to do. Now you shall pretend to be frogs while dancing around the phallic, and so on. Anyhow this unregulated time in our lives use to work only a couple of hours. Later in the evening the swedes become anxious when no one tells them what to do and start drinking alcohol like maniacs.

This is not the right forum

The issue was already taken up earlier but was voted down

It is not according to our party’s principles

The latest science have find out that bla, bla, bla

Sweden is a democracy, where all decisions are made due to an ubiquity set of rules. Beside the government with 360 elected representatives all 290 municipalities have their own elected representatives. A guestimate is that there are about 100 representatives for the democracy in each municipality, which make 29000 politicians. Since almost all aspects of the life in Sweden are subject to political decisions the number of meetings is severe.

The political parties are the same in the municipalities as in the government, and the election is the same date every 4th year. The people elect a political party, which is a form of an association. The party association has member meetings under the strict regulative that is the core of the Swedish democracy. The formalities are central in those meetings. The by-laws stipulate how the meetings shall be announced, and the formalities during and after the meeting.

The chairman in the board of the association is responsible to call for the general member meeting once a year. The chairman makes the agenda for the meeting. All meetings start with election of a chairman a secretary and two persons to adjust the protocol. Normally if not to say always, the chairman of the board becomes chairman of the meeting, someone in the board becomes secretary.

The entry step to be selected to represent the party in the politics is to volunteer to adjust the protocol according to the “common understanding”. After about 20 years adjusting protocols, you might be promoted, to represent the party as suppliant in one of the political committees of the municipality.

When the meeting starting formalities are finished, the chairman who is seated in the end of the table, with the other board members on his right-hand side, present the agenda point by point, mostly in a way that helps the members to understand what the common opinion is. If someone of the members want to say something he must rise his hand and then he must be given permission to speak by the chairman.

Now comes the real democracy in to power. If a member question the common opinion, the chairman will either interrupt him or reply as if he is the one representing the common understanding. He will look to his right-hand side and get endorsement. If the member wants to withhold his point or continues questioning, he must rise his hand again. The chairman will try to ignore him and not let him talk again. If someone will discuss something that is not on the agenda, the chairman will clarify, that:

  • This is not the right forum
  • The issue was already taken up earlier but was voted down
  • It is not according to our party’s principles
  • The latest science have find out that bla, bla, bla

If the dissident member continues and still follow up with questions when and where the right forum is, or what scientific article. Here comes the essence of democracy into force. The dissident has spoiled all chances to a political career. He will get a stigma resulting in that nobody else in the party dear to talk to him. Depending on the circumstances a rumour can be spread, that he sympathises with the Nazis, or that he is mentally ill or both.

In Sweden we don’t vote for persons to represent us, we vote for political parties.

When all points in the agenda is gone through, the chairman summarize what have been decided. The secretary finalizes the protocol after the meeting too be sent to the two persons adjusting the protocol. This normally takes 2 weeks. Then the protocol will be available, the gods know where.

The formalities are the most important. A small detail which is not according to the rules can make the whole meeting session invalid. Then the meeting must be called for again, and the point must be decided over again. It has happened that the chairman has lost control of the meeting.

In Sweden the definition of wealth is upside down.

In Sweden we don’t vote for persons to represent us, we vote for political parties.

The board of the political party association decides some people who shall nominate persons to represent the party in the politics. An election will be held internally in the party where the candidates presented will be elected for the different positions.

The same meeting procedures as described above will be valid within the political committees in the municipalities and the government. The party who got the most votes will hold the positions chairman and secretary. The agenda and the political positions are decided by the chairman of the board of the party associations, who have interpretation prerogative of the ideology. Most municipalities in Sweden have been social democratic the last 100 years, who have interpretation prerogative of the meaning of democracy.

Here you can sit and smell on your neighbour who have pooped in his pants and watch the state television.

Gini coefficient as a matter of science is weak when it comes to Sweden. In Sweden the definition of wealth is upside down. The bare necessities are covered by the state. Your income is official, and if you have somewhat higher income than the average you are listed in the local paper once a year. Your children will then be harassed in school, and you get problem with the local authorities where the clerks do anything to reject your applications. Generally, all aspects of life in Sweden needs involvement by the authorities which will make your life a disaster. Beside you cannot chose a private alternative since this is not in line with the egalitarian ideology, and no such service can possibly survive.

We are all equal, but I am more equal than you!

However, if you are a local politician and have a modest income from a work in the municipality. Then you can provide your children with good manager positions without the need for long postgraduate education. Or provide them with good deals as entrepreneurs with the stable base of income that a frame agreement with the official authorities guarantees. Or as a culture worker where their hobbies are subsidized by tax money.

You don’t need a lot of money for travelling to fancy areas, since you have the right to utilize a cabin by the lake as your private during your lifetime. This is a construction in the Swedish law which are provided by the Swedish land surveyor authority. These rights are not allowed to be registered. The utilizer has a document in which the right is declared with the signature from the authority. Hence this will not be able to find in the tax authorities registers.

The authority can make those constructions called servitude against the will of the landowner. Mainly the properties where those constructions are made are owned by associations with a common good cause and founded by tax money. Those rights are bound to the property and are still valid if the property is sold. Such a liability will have implications of the property value, specifically when privately owned. But that is no problem since the aim is an egalitarian society where private ownership shall be banned.

When the swede gets old there are other institutions provided by the municipality. By the facile price of you pension and your life savings you can get a room in the municipality care home. Here you can sit and smell on your neighbour who have pooped in his pants and watch the state television. Every 4th year the people from the social democratic party comes and visit you to help you with the voting. Especially those who suffer from dementia need help with the voting process.
